He is a world-renowned guitarist, solo artist and has been performing on stage for over two decades: Riku Rajamaa. He became famous through his career as a guitarist with Sunrise Avenue – the Finnish band caused quite a stir in the pop music scene in 2011 with their hit Hollywood Hills.
But there is much more to Riku Rajamaa than just being the guitarist in this band. He was already performing as a solo artist in the 2000s and gave his solo career a new boost in 2021 with his single Painless Love. Over the past four years, he has released a total of 17 singles and EPs, including ‘Back Again’ together with the rock band Stanfour – who hail from the island of Föhr. Over the past six months, Simon has interviewed both Konstantin, the singer of Stanfour, via online interview and Riku Rajamaa in person before his performance at the Krämerbrückenfest in Erfurt. In both cases, the focus was on their joint song ‘Back Again’ as well as their musical careers.
